From now on (following some friends'advice) you can find me also on Behance! www.behance.net/Marie-Esther
Lately I found myself in the situation of being rather "copied" in my developing project theme by a few deviants (by one in particular: in this case I am not really pleased, mainly because I have been given a few evidences that this person's art is completely fake. I was very disappointed and sorry when I've been made aware of this, I have been rather naive. Many people are also already asking if this person is somehow copying my idea and I really don't know what to answer at times). Anyway, I am not sure whether I should feel honoured or displeased, in general. I never found myself in this situation, I guess! Therefore I am uncertain about how to deal with it
! I am overall glad to be of inspiration, but I don't fully know where the boundary line between quote and plagiarism lays, and how to actually define it. What do you think? I'd love to read your opinions about this matter!
On a second note, I want to answer to a frequently asked question about my latest works here. No, I do not use editing programs to compose my works before painting/drawing them, I do it directly on paper, trying out how the composition works best. In fact, I usually have to erase the guide lineart quite a few times actually. It's the most boring part of the process
Hereby, just a quick recollection of my latest works that go under the same theme/concept.
Trying to keep creative in order to have quite a few pieces ready for my upcoming exhibition in Milan, in September!
I'm particularly fond of the latest works
Which one (or ones) do you like best?
Besides, if you wish to talk to me more thoroughly or ask questions about my works, feel free to add me on Facebook atwww.facebook.com/gaia.alari
, where I am slightly more frequent!
